Dear Members
There are two matters that we need to communicate to all our members
The first and most important matter is that of our Club Coach, Walt Crossland, who was appointed late in 2015 and was our appointed coach for the 2017 season will be leaving us. He and his family have decided to immigrate to the United Kingdom and are due to leave SA in November 2016. He will be sorely missed. We wish Walt and his family everything of the best for the future.
The second matter is that Dorian Sylvester, an U12 parent has decided to establish a second football club in our area. To the best of our knowledge the new Club namely Bothasig Rangers have made application to join CTTFA. As of September 2016 the current members of CTTFA voted to not accept any new applications from Clubs wishing to join the LFA for the 2017 season. This decision could change. The area of concern is that Bothasig Rangers recruiters are informing potential members that they will operate from our complex and that they have permission to do so. This is certainly not the case, the Bothasig MFMC have not received any request of this nature and we have no intention of relinquishing our right that we have worked hard to develop over the last 44 years. We wish Bothasig Rangers best of luck in their new venture once they find their own grounds to develop and call home.
