MID-WEEK FOOTI WITH THE QUEEN B’s

After 3 weeks of not playing a competitive match the Queen B’s met up with their old rivals Tableview.

As suspected it was a tough match with both teams coming close in the first few minutes, however we had more chances including a 1-on-1 and besides 2 breaks by TVFC we dominated possession, complete passes and shots at goal, 0-0 into the break.

Battling with the wind and a heavy pitch we again had a few chances but due to lack of composure in front of goals it stayed at 0-0 until our left back Sandy gave a fabulous ball through to Kim who slipped passed 2 picked her spot and slotted it 1-0 to the Queen B’s.

Although the football itself wasn’t the best we played this season, a win is a win and we now head off to play Avendale in Athlone 16h00 kick off Saturday 25 July 2015.
